In Marietta Georgia there is a crude Confederate Cemetery which has the graves of many of the Kentucky troops (mostly mounted inf.) that were killed in the Battle of Kennesaw Georgia. They were not allowed to be buried in the large Union Cemetery that was estabilshed during the battle in Marietta. Today it is a huge Federal Cemetery for all of our heros.
