Frenchmen in the American Civil War

Hi evrybody. I live in Paris, France. I am currently doing my PHD at the Sorbonne about the military participation of Frenchmen, both immigrants and volunteers, in the American Civil War. Consequently, I would be grateful if someone interested with that topic could help me in my research. I am looking any information about the European Brigade, French militia companies and many prominent French-born officers like Colonel Felix Dumonteil (14th CS Cav.)... Thank you!
Yours,
F. Ameur
