It is simple human nature that" my people good you people bad". I will admit in Mo there were enough bad folks on either side. Has far has Afro-Americans fighting on the CSA side I can't say I have seen such accounts writted by crediable historians or contemporary accounts given of Afro-Americans fighting in CSA regiments. Certainly if they did so they were not rewarded has the Jim Crow laws proved. If you know of a crediable source that is accepted in the academic community that substational numbers of Afro-Americans joined the CSA forces I would like to know. It does not appear the the Afro-Americans in the great state of Mo were willing to don buternut grey.
