To confirm I got into Capt Headrick's CSR on Fold3 and it confirms that he was the officer with Hunter's regiment and he was from Bollinger county. Of interst to me is he was listed as being with Hunter's Band in March of 1863 when picked up in Dunklin county and sent to Cape Girardeau to Jacob H Burrough who was PM there at the time. Burrough just shoved him on up the road to Myrtle street prison but I didn't find a listing of action against him in the PM files at the SOS site.
