Mr. Russell, I happened upon this communication and information by accident. My Great-great grandfather was Casper Headrick, who was in Hunter's Regiment and captured, as I see you have in your information. Please check the Union records because after he was released from Myrtle Street, he went home. However, being one to want in on a war I was told he enlisted in the Union Army but the war ended a few months afterwards and he didn't see any combat.
