I have been searching for information on the March 1862 skirmish north of Marthasville Missouri.
Read the earlier postings, thank you. Newspaper information sources were the St. Louis Republican.
I cannot find this newspaper. I have searched the Daily Missouri Republican (St. Louis) for the referenced dates but cannot find the articles.
Could someone clarify this?
Herman Nolte is the Union soldier seriously wounded in the skirmish. He died March 28, 1864 and is buried in Warren county.
