Thanks. Our prospective UDC member has a copy of that book along with lots of UDC records from the Arizona Archives. I think any reasonable UDC or SCV Registrar would accept that book as adequate documentation for his CSA service- EVEN if he (Robert Oscar Greene) was compelled to sign that EMM oath later (as R. O. Greene) in order to protect his family & property.

In researching Anderson Carter of McDonald Co., MO and Robert Oscar Greene of Saline Co., MO, I'm learning more about MO & its EMM. I really appreciate all the help you all have given me. Our prospective DAR member gave me an interesting print-out of "Roster Captain Ritchey’s 1862-63 Company I 76th Enrolled Missouri Militia" which I found is online at
