I don't think the James Bell/Cairo is him as he married 31 Dec 1863 in Iron Co. His wife was Lucinda Trollinger, niece of Sam Trollinger, so there's that. Lucinda Trollinger's father Absalom was also accused by some of having been a bushwhacker. He was on a list of qualified voters 1864-1868 with the notation of bushwhacker. James S (Stacy) Bell's parent's land was at the mouth of Peter Cave Hollow on Ottery Creek in Kaolin Township. I located Sam Trollinger's and Absalom Trollinger's land just up the creek from them.
