I was revisiting this forum and only now realized I had never replied to your fantastic information. I had always heard references to my family and a connection to the Jame's and Bushwackers. I have since been able to find many family letters which are archived on the UNC Libraries website (linked below). One of Uriah Bond's daughters wrote many letters and kept journals during this time which I have seen appear in a Jesse Jame's biography. I am certainly interested in knowing more about any further interactions between the families. Anyway, thank you again for your kind and informative response!
