Has anyone ever seen a list of soldiers put on the steam boat Clinton that carried Confederate Prisoners from New Orleans to Ship Island in Oct of 1864. I guess it would be called a Ships Manifest. I am looking for any info on Ship island between Oct and December 1864.
Were there any Ship Island records that survived the war?
