Great story. I live in Gulfport, Miss. I have a sister who lives in Greenville. Married a Vaughn. Anyway I fish all the time in front of the fort, or did before Katrina. Not sure how it is now. Anyway some of the first actions of the war, in South Miss., involved the 7th Miss. and Yankees on Ship Island. That being said i would like to invite you to the 7th Miss. site at ---
