Re: Lemuel Sutton - 1793 - 186 ?

To Rick Bryant . . .
Thank you for your interest and your suggestion about John S. Sutton however, he is not my Lemuel Sutton. Lemuel was b. abt 1794 in Prince Georges county, MD. His parents were William and Martha Norton Sutton. He migrated southwest to Rutherford county, TN where he married his first wife Anne W. Thomas 14 Jul 1823. His brothers: William Jr., Jonathan and Wesley Sr. were living in Bedford county, TN at the time. He then continued his migration into MS and married his second wife Elizabeth V. Lockridge. His brothers and their families continued on into AR and TX.
