Hi Jim!!!! Many thanks for the information. It is very interesting. I know a first cousin of my put up a head stone for a John Reneck in Bethel Cemetery in Benton County Mississippi and that's why I had researched it. I went on a website about graves administration and it said that the John Reneck or John Renick was a union Cav Officer. But maybe this wasn't the 21st. Regardless, This John Reneck or John Renick is not related to the Renicks who went to Tippah County Mississippi in 1838. The only Renicks in the civil war from Tippah County Mississippi were James T. Renick, his sons William Jasper Renick, Andrew Jackson Renick and Thomas J. Renick. Sometimes the name is spelled Rennick. Sometimes they have Thomas B. Renick or Thomas A. Renick. Thanks for your information, it is appreciated. Best Regards, Keith Renick
