My post wasn't clear about that. Thomas Jefferson and Henry Meek Patty were among sons of Jesse Patty (Oct 20, 1808-Aug 21, 1890), who also lived in Winston County. The only son of John William Patty who served during the war was Robert Calhoun Patty (July 9, 1846 - Dec 31, 1891). His marker from the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Macon MS, is shown below. He and Francis Marion Patty (Sept 20, 1845 - July 2, 1896) served in the 10th Mississippi Cavalry. FMP is buried in the Masonic Cemetery in Louisville MS.
