Men, I need some assistance, This is Brent Waller, we were forming up our new camp The Greene County Gaines Warriors, at our first meeting today, a member alerted me to 2 confederate tombstones thrown out on an elderly Ladys property in Leakesville MS several years ago. We went and picked them up today, and i have located the 2 cemeterys where they belong. I want all the info i can get on these two men, for their Tombstone replacement ceremony and salute. the first is

The Preacher at Mutual RIghts Church Said there is supposed to be 3 confederate Tombstones, but he only sees 2 so it would seem this is the man. I Also would like to know is this man related to captian Henry Roberts from Greene COunty

I want the info, to read a memorial of these mens service to the south. We will have the reinactors come give them a salute. Looks like Lieut Winburn fought almost the entire war, he was burried in a small family cemetery in Vernal MS in South Greene County called Mcinness Family cemetery. I assure you the Greene county Gaines Warriors appreciates all of your help, and will not rest until these stones are returned to there rightful spot. Since our camp is named after the Gaines Warriors, i have a particular intrest in M H Winburn for camp history purposes.
