I know because one of my relatives filled out info that my 2gr-grandfather was buried in the same cemetery that many of the other relatives are buried in. The sad part is he even had it listed under the tombstone where the soldier's wife is buried and the the soldier is Cyrus McDonald Rape, Cyrus's wife was Christianne Dorcas Rape and the stone says C.D. Rape -notice both names start with "C". The sad part is that relative knew his grandmother but not his grandfather Cyrus. The cemetery did not exist until many years after the war. And another relation says his ancestor was the first buried there- apparently he has the proof of that. We "know" Cyrus isn't there BUT I don't have proof positive one way or the other- and the keeper of the website kindly said he would change it if I can offer the proof- other than that, he has to go with the list which is understandable. Until relatives still attending that church can figure out where the earliest records may be (apparently lost), I cannot offer the proof so it has to stand - for now. That civil war records say he died in Rienze, MS doesn't prove that he isn't buried in Lake, MS.
