Doyle, I agree with you in all your points. I believe in spirits because the Bible speaks of them.

There were two re-enactors who were going to spend the night at an area reported to have ghosts at Honey Springs battlefield, near Checotah Ok. The story reported the men set up camp during the day in midsummer. They went back to their camp that night. It was a warm summer evening, but as soon as they got to the place the specters were susposed to be seen, the area got cold. Their candle lamp went out and it was pitch black dark. They couldn't find a light for their candle and with circumstances as they were they left. Thinking they were not susposed to be there after all.

Like you said there are all kinds of stories you here of and the tellers believe what they are saying. But its like the time when I was working as a Ranger and kept recieving reports of Mountain Lions being seen. I didn't discount it as nonsense, but I hadn't seen one my self. Then I did see one,,,,,,
