In one of the post way down the board someone ask something on the order of why do ya’ll still fight the war or something on that order. Well let’s try this scenario for a bit

Folks I am thinking about contacting my reps in congress
about changing the name of New York state and City. I have did a bit of reading and seems like that among other things new York sent troops to fight an illegal war in the south, was involved in the slave trade and was a very racist place in the 1860s, not allowing slaves or free blacks. That also brings to mind the fact some New Yorkers were the largest s plantations in the south. The city was filled with , filled with murders and thugs (Gangs Of New York). Not only that it is also my understand that the people of New York City turned on Union troops trying to protect them from a Southern invasion. Traitors!!!! For this reason and more the names of all men who served in the Union army should be removed, from all streets, buildings and public areas. the flag of New York should be changed and the very name New York needs to go, up to and including the baseball team.. This all should be done in the name of diversity and equality and nothing reminding of us the New York of old should remain.

Worst of all look at all the Southern men and women killed in New York state every year by people who hate Southerners hundreds, thousands!!!!
