I was Army on an Air Force base. One day a full bird stopped me and chewed me out for not saluting two captains (Air Force Pilots). When he got threw with the Officer, Rank and other nonsense men of his rank speak about to an E-4, I replyed I'd salute them if they would look at me but when they looked and turned their face it was obvious they didn't want to salute me anymore than I wanted to salute them. Of course my arguement fell on deaf ears but I stood my Doggie Ground and Snapped to attention saluted the Bird and did not even wait for him to salute back. Seems like you put a Bird on their shoulders and they lose their sense of humor,,,,
