Did you ever see that pretty good 1951 Civil War movie called, "Drums in the Deep South," with Guy Madison and Barbara Payton?

Kind of reminds me of that, on this board. When Barbara bent forward to fetch her honor, which she had dropped on the floor for the umpteenth time, I almost defected. But when she straightened back up and I snapped out of it, I thought: "what was I thinking?"

Plot has some Rebs hauling some cannon up inside a huge mountain to blast Yankee trains going by. Has a happy ending...all the rebs die in a huge Krakatoa-type explosion.

Yanks too. Man that was sad..lol

PS--art director on that film was Wm Cameron Menzies, same guy who did "Gone With the Wind".
