On Air Force Bases particularly, there are so many Officers that an enlisted man could wear his arm out. Most Pilots dislike saluting as much as the enlisted men.

While at Ft Belvoir Va. I hated to go anywhere because of the Officers and particularly Generals driving around. Ft Belvoir was the only place I really did not like, I wish I knew what I know now about the place, I might have gotten away from those Officers,,,LOL, I was just miles away from some the most notable Civil War Battlefields and never saw one,,,,
