Re: My final thoughts on pensions

I didn't know if you have served in the military or not or studied military history, but I think you have not. I have done both. During most wars the average soldier has been forced to do his "duty", even though he may not know what the war was really about or even belived in it. Over and over I have read of veterans from many wars that said he had more respect for the common soldier of the other side than those that were the war-mongers but never served, because the common soldier was just doing what their country forced them to do.
