David, I have no idea where you are going with this but I suggest you read Jamie’s recent post as I just did to keep in check. I never once mentioned that Stonewall could have won the war "alone" so you missed that outright. There are countless historical references to his personality and demeanor that supports everything I have said. His ability to plan, strategize, and act without someone else telling him what to think or do was my point.
My position- opinion stands just as yours does OK, fair enough? We all know how many Corps the CSA Army had so not sure where you are going with the obvious and the quarterback thing?
