Obviously, Stonewall Jackson read the 'Art of War. But as a God fearing man I doubt Jackson would have attacked noncombatants with such vigor as Union officers did.
Murder, plunder, rape and pillage, burning entire cities like Sherman did, Jackson would not have done.
