Your question, Kevin - ie, "What is your point?" - is well taken. Of course, the News and Views Message Board being what it is, that question could be well asked of at least 60% (or maybe 80%) of the posts on this board.

You seem peeved. You know what peeves me? I was watching the History Channel a few weeks ago, a show about "Terrorism in the Civil War." And some big name historian was going on about how all the "terrorist" acts in the war were committed by Southerners, and when asked about similar acts committed by Northerners, wrote them off as legitimate acts of war. So it would seem that everyone thinks that "we" were the "good guys," and "they" were the "bad guys." Guess it all depends on whose ox is being gored.

Which is strange, because I think that we all know who the good guys really were.
