Here are a couple of cleaning wipers or "worms" I use to swab out the bores of my muskets. The one on the left is a repro .58 cal that is close to an original British Musket Tool, or Sergeants tool wiper that was issued to maintain the British Enfield Rifled Musket.

The one on the right is an Original .69 cal wiper I bought at the Nashville relic show some years back for $20. It fits the ramrod of my repro 1842 .69 cal smoothbore just fine for cleaning.

I'm a bit skeptical about parts of the points breaking off, as originals are strongly made.
