Personal note to Mike Gerow.....Mike, I don't know if you know it but there is a picture of your MOST VALIANT kinsman Col. Francis Washburn at the Visitor's Center at Appomattox, will be sending you a copy of a pic I took. It was a hard angle because some sabers were in front of it....good looking fellow.... runs in the family?
