Mighty nice of you, James, thanks. Never been to Appomattox but would like to some day. Pretty interesting description of that hot little fight at High Bridge. With the end of the war clearly near, no one wants the dubious distinction of being the last man killed, but you have to hand it to the 4th Mass for charging in there against incredible odds to see their duty done. To bad their infantry support got cold feet that day.

Wonder what those boys would think of the condition of their beloved state today. On second thought, maybe I already know.
