Nobody not in this country ever thinks that slavery was a good thing. But in the 1800's no one had that kind of enlightenment. The 1800's was the time of enlighting to the conscience of a few countries of the world who began to condeam slavery like England and The United States. In the future will our grandchildren become enlightened to the misdeeds that we are doing today? Will they wonder why we had wars at all? When they develope the knowledge to live 200 years, or longer, will they wonder why we aborted babies? If they develope that love of life to extend their lives will they wonder why we took such careless concern for the lives of others?
