Bryan,

There is a book that was published in Richmond Va. in 1863, I can't for the life of me remember the title, But it is some like "Battles" or something to do with battles for a title. Anyway I accidently found it as an on-line book on the internet. It was several battle reports of Confederate Commanders of engagements in 1861 and early 1862. The one that struck me and one that I had never seen before was Fagan's report of the 1st Arkansas actions at Shiloh. It was quite detailed being several pages in length in the book.

I read over it quickly because I was looking for something else at the time and Bookmarked the site to come back to it later. But when I went back to it, the Bookmark failed to bring up the site. Drat and double Drat. But I least I know that the book is out there somewhere and I'm still looking for that site.
