David, it kind of slipped my mind to respond to this even though I sincerely meant to. I apologize for it slipping my mind. I have seen no reports of a Hurricane at that time and place either and perhaps there wasn't an actual hurricane but do you feel it is possible that simply no record exist of what happened there at that time. In any event there was a severe storm that caused the 3rd Mississippi Brigade some headaches.
