Stan,
We had it for about 12 hours Sunday. Lots of rain and wind. We got about 6 inches of rain here. Some spots got up to nine inches in that short period. On the way home last nite, I noticed that most of the creeks that I have to cross were out of their banks which I expected. Got home to a very wet basement from seepeage. Wet vaced until about midnight and finished it up this morning. Not much compared to our friends in the immediate path down in Texas for the most part. I am thankful that there was no more loss of life than there was. Galveston looks destroyed from what I saw on the TV. I am glad that Jim came through the way he did. Carol Young who used to post here a lot lives in that area also. I hope she is OK. Nature is very powerful. I remember back in 57 that a tornado blew a steam locomotive and its tender off the tracks and over into the ditch. That is some power. FC
