Do you have any idea as to the percentage of ships that were pressed into confederate service in this way in relation to the other "private" shippers who continued in blockade running. I know they were to bring "supplies" back in to the southern states but I think for the most part those suppllies were find wines and other trinkets for the monied class and not things like percussion caps and other essential things.
