Re: Facts that Yankees cant stand

Doyle, I agree that Jeff Davis had a daunting challenge and in some respects, he performed well. He was judged too harshly during the War and in my opinion, he was a sympathetic and inspiring man after the War. Had he been assassinated by agents of the Lincoln regime, I believe that would have accomplished more than he or anyone else could have done as President of the CSA.
