While we fret the day to day "little stuff" and know that we are traveling down the wrong path, I am sometimes torn with the knowledge that as you say God is still on his Throne and that this is all part of both his plan and his judgement. Otherwise I would almost be willing to start another "American Revolution" or another "War for Independence", before it is to late, if it were not for that knowledge.

The American Revolution did not happen by accident without His will being done. Neither was our forefathers defeat in their War for Southern Independence. We are what we are today because of God's will to preform his almighty purposes and to render Judgement against sin.

God's will allowed this nation to become what we have been in the past. But His allowing us to have freewill, also allows us to make the mistakes we have. Will this Country survive? I don't know. That depends upon God's plan and purposes. But, I do know if we do not get over this country wide spread epidemic of self centeredness and start using that "Freewill" to making the Right Choices, we will not survive. Just as Nineveh didn't.
