Re: So what's the chicken and what's the egg?

A wise man once said that "the best way to keep Peace is to prepare for War." That is true even of life itself. It is the unprepared that are always caught in the most need when trouble arises. This is not a Utopian world and never will be.

I found a long time ago that "Psychological Warfare" is the most cost effective method of preventing trouble. It is easier to whip people in their minds that any other method I know. If you have a gun people are normally going to think you will use it. If they think you will use it they usually will leave you alone. If they intend you trouble anyways then they have to have a bigger gun than yours. I want a BIG gun.

It has been a proven fact that in Cities and States where concealed carry laws are in effect the crime rates go down. Crime rates are highest in cities like Chicago and Washington DC, where there are gun control measures in effect. That is direct cause and effect in action. The Southern States thought that they could seceed successfully because they were armed as well as the Government and could raise their own army and did. All those guns did not come from state armouries and overseas purchases at first now did they. The same was true with the Minute men. It is the uniquely AMERICAN Tradition that FREEMEN are always armed.
