Re: Religion in Virginia- and early America

There's some who have changed religion as often as they changed flags. At least that's how it was around here. I do not believe the government was meant to decide anything based on a faith or religion but by a law that didn't have faith or religion in its definition. If we as a mass of humanity have learned one thing by reading about the past it is that a force driven by a religion or an ideal based on a religion is only going to last until the next army marches through. I still have to wonder about riding into the desert in full armour. That had to be hot, and dumb.

What I do believe is worth fighting for is the right to celebrate ones heritage, past, ancestors (even the dumb ones in chain mail) and not be tossed into the communal trash dump because someone got their feelings hurt. People need to just get over it. We are not giving up or in and we won't shut up. Leave our flag and our heritage alone and we won't bother any one else. That's just my take on it but then, I'm just me, not one with 'power'.
