His name is John Wiley Rodgers (usually John W. Rodgers is how he's listed). He was in the 6th Ill. Co. G. According to the National Archives, he mustered in in May of '64, but was in a hospital in Memphis in Sept/Oct, in Nashville in Nov/Dec, and then possibly in a Nashville hospital again from January through June. Not much soldiering going on with him.
