This is from the pension file of John Lore of Pope Co., IL. He was in the 6th Co G. His name is sometimes recorded as "Love" in the records. He died at his home Jan. 1, 1865. Maybe if you searched the Official Records online, you could find out more about the Vet. Reserve Corps.
