Homer,

These have been "reproduced" in Italy. So careful authentification would be in order.

Also, the initials "CS" were used by the Union Army. I don't remember for sure what it stood for, but it was something like Commissary Stores. I have seen several known Union items marked with these initials. Some of the items that I have seen were storage trunks and paper documents.
