You are correct, sir. However, as to Buford's location, General Taylor directed that officer to take his from Montevallo to Greenville on March 22, 1865. Aside from the fact that Buford was not ordered to support Clanton, almost a hundred miles south of Greenville below the Florida line, three days would be an insufficient time for Buford's men to move from Montevallo to Bluff Springs.
