In checking the 1860 U.S. Census, I found Joshua Preston in the home of Stephen Andress. After looking down the page, I found the name of Hugh Davison. This places Preston in T8N, R8E along Robinson Creek 2 miles north and 2 miles west of Old Scotland Presbyterian Church (which still stands) or 4 miles NW of Tunnel Springs or approx. 8 miles ESE of Pineville (Beatrice today). I do not know any Preston relatives but I know many from the Andress line (my brother married into this family). Due to the fatc that Joshua and Nancy Andress Preston moved to Texas, I suppose few in this family may know about them, however, there is one lady in her 90s who may. I'll contact her son and ask.
