Residents of Washington County AR, maybe ?

Bryan Howerton,

Question is: Were the following 17 men residents of Missouri or Arkansas?

All of the names in my "17 July 2006, at 10:20 p.m." posting were found on the following website listing -- including John T. C. McCaffery, who was definitely a Washington Co AR resident -- which means that Taylor Russell cited in his index of his HISTORY OF TITUS COUNTY (Texas) the same Captain Edwin R. Hawkins Texas Militia listings that I have transcribed and have referenced.

This is a circular definition that begs clarification ... from my vantage point.
