We, the director of the Ark Natl Guard Musuem that is, has been attempting to extend our lineage of the 153rd Infantry back through the 15th Ark (previously the 1st Ark In State Troops) While the Center of Military History has so far not accepted our huge research on this (they haven't said no either) we are switching gears and trying to gain battle honors for one city in Ark (Pine Bluff)Company B. If this works then we have set a precedent and perhaps we can continue and gain an official lineage back. Wouldn't it be great to see all those battle honors on the flags of the various battalions of the 39th BCT /153rd Infantry! That is our goal and the 15th plays the prominent role in that endeavor.
