Ok, I have confirmed, he would have been reinterred in Little Rock in 1868. I will still see if I can find out where the hospital stood and where he may have originally been buried. Ira A Wood was part of the 11th Wisconsin Regiment. They were initially stationed in southeastern Missouri and northeastern Arkansas before being ordered to reinforce Curtis' Army of the Southwest at Batesville, arriving about May 25, 1862 and being assigned to Peter Osterhaus' 1st Brigade. Curtis would evacuate Batesville on June 25, 1862 apparently leaving Wood behind, too sick to travel.
