Frank: Oh my goodness, I believe it is!! My next question is...would his body have been brought back to WI or do you think this is just a marker and his body is buried in AK somewhere? Did they ever send bodies back to the state they came from during the war or after? I have an uncle who was killed in WWII and his body was never sent back, he is buried in France.
