The Arkansas in the Civil War Message Board

8th Arkansas, CSA, For Bryan, if he is around

Hello. Can you or someone tell me for sure how many men of the original 8th Arkansas were left alive to surrender in
North Carolina? Since I do not understand the strength of a military grouping, how many men would have been in the
original grouping sent east?
Or should I just read the Gerdes site and figure it out for myself?
Is there a list anywhere????
