Re: 8th Arkansas, CSA, For Bryan, if he is around

It's possible he could have joined the 46th Arkansas in time to take part in Price's Missouri Campaign. He was present on the August 31, 1864, when the 8th Arkansas was stationed near Jonesboro, Georgia. The 46th Arkansas married up with Price's command at Pocahontas, Arkansas, on September 16, 1864, and left there for Missouri on September 19. That would have given him nearly three weeks to travel from Georgia to Arkansas and join the 46th Arkansas before they jumped off for the Missouri campaign. It's a tight fit, but doable.
