Re: 14th & 34th AR Infantry & 13th AR Cavalry

Bryan, Thank you for your response and information. The only reason I question if he's "my" George W. is because George and his family were from Baxter County, where George is found in the Census from 1850 to 1880, and Baxter and Franklin Counties aren't too near each other. And unfortunately, there is a G.W. Hutchinson living in Sebastian County in the 1860 Census, which is much closer to Franklin County. Though he is definitely on the older side (born ca. 1822), it seems more likely that he'd be the one in the 13th Cavalry then, doesn't it? What do you think?

Also Bryan, I believe it was your post I was linking to in my original post, about the casualty list for the 34th Infantry. Would you be able to check it for Adrian Hays for me? I would really appreciate it.

Thank you for looking into George for me.
