I see. That's too bad all the records are gone, but I've not heard of Silas Turnbo. I'm really interested in his work, but there weren't many copies available on Amazon.com. One of my uncles in the war was a 1st lt. in the 27th Infantry--Michael M. Hutcheson. I'd be interested to find out all that Turnbo wrote on the 14th and the 27th.
I live in Michigan, so it doesn't appear there are any libraries nearby me that have his work. Any suggestions as to how I could purchase his writings, maybe some re-prints that don't cost over $100 like they do on Amazon? Thanks again.
